Cogent routing loop
-
Identified
We've noted that Cogent is experiencing a routing loop that is sending traffic between a France and Amsterdam endpoint repeatedly. While this is on Cogent's end to resolve, and likely part of their status posting a couple of hours ago regarding transatlantic connectivity, we're going to attempt to have our carriers drop Cogent for now. We'll update this posting as we have more information.

Resolved
This appears to be limited to leased customer-provided IP ranges from Logicweb, where the IRR object pointing at our ASN 63018 has disappeared. If your leased IP range from Logicweb has stopped working, please check on https://irrexplorer.nlnog.net/ and confirm there is, or is not, an entry in the ARIN (or the RIR/LIR your IP range is from) column for 63018. If not, contact Logicweb to resolve, and once the IRR object is re-added, your IP range should start working again within 12 hours max.
